Brockville & Area Community Living Association is an organization committed to providing quality out-of-family home, residential and associated support services for people who have an intellectual disability.
Our Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are a group of dedicated community volunteers who come together to share their interest and expertise. The majority of our funds are received through a transfer payment agreement with the Province of Ontario.
We believe that the individuals we support have a right to live and grow as participating members of their community and we will advocate on their behalf by promoting opportunities to develop and sustain positive social and community relationships.
As a team, we seek out opportunities which would enrich the lives of the individuals we support and provide the necessary information to ensure that each person is able to make informed decisions.
We respect the importance of Family, Friends, Volunteers, Staff and Significant Others as contributors to the individual’s well-being.
